MEBA 2008 Exhibitor Quotes
Iacobucci – Nicola Venchierutti, Operations/Sales Manager of the Aviation Department
We will definitely be participating at the MEBA 2010 show because it caters to our segment – Business Jets. We provide the espresso machines to major airline companies like Emirates, Etihad and several Indian carriers. We have many clients from the business jet industry here and we have developed major leads from this show. We prefer niche aviation shows rather than general aviation.
Bombardier – Khader Mattar, Vice President – Sales, Middle East/Africa/Turkey>
MEBA 2008 has provided excellent facilities and services that have made a lot of things easier for us. One of the major things that have greatly improved is the visitor vetting process for the show. Now we get more niche customers rather than window shoppers. We will definitely be there at every aviation show organised by F&E. Their shows are important marks on the international aviation calendar.
Al Jaber Aviation - Dr Mark J Pierotti, Chief Operating Officer
As a VIP executive airline, our market is business aviation and MEBA is the ideal place to launch a project like this. We waited for MEBA 2008 and took our time as this event was a big part of our strategy. It’s a wonderful platform for us. There is nothing quite like AJA currently in the market today, it’s exclusive, it’s innovative and it’s discreet for those who can afford such a service and we can tailor the service to the individual needs of our customers – MEBA provides us with direct access to our target market.
Prestige Holdings - Kefah Khamis, Sales Manager
We made a big announcement at MEBA 2008 and we felt this was the perfect place to do it because it is a very industry specific event. As a company we are growing very quickly and we want visitors to MEBA 2008 knowing about what we are doing.
Gulfstream - Robert N Baugniet, Director, Corporate Communications
We have participated in this event for years as this is our specific market. We have more than 100 of our planes in service in the Middle East and MEBA is a way to directly access existing and prospective customers. The event has grown a lot since the first show. It’s extremely well-organised, but the most important factor for us is that it’s purely a business aviation show. There are not a lot of commercial airlines or military companies to distract from what we are doing.
Embraer - Tony Fitzpatrick, Sales Director Middle East
MEBA is a strategic show for the region and the Middle East market is very important. We are committed to expanding our business in this region and this show is a good way for us to do that.
ExecuJet - Mike Berry, Managing Director
We were at the last MEBA [2007] and, obviously being one of the original operators in the region [since 1999], we are established here as one of the pioneers of business aviation. The growth that we have experienced in the past two years really calls for us to be part of the market at MEBA.
Cessna - Trevor Esling, V/P International Sales, Europe, Middles East and Africa
The Middle East is a growing market for us and our class of jets. Since the early 1990-2000s we started to increase our presence here and we know that the Middle East market is very much a see it, touch it, feel it market. MEBA is well organised, with excellent infrastructure and great access, and allows us to establish relationships on a face-to-face basis with potential customers. This is the first time that we have had a chalet and the set up. Also having the static park right next to the chalets is excellent and means that you are right by the aircraft you are displaying.
Project Phoenix- Andrew Johnston. VP Commercial
MEBA proved to be a good showcase for us and we met a number of quality prospects that we will certainly be following up with. We also had good dialogue with our suppliers so very useful all round. At the next MEBA we will look at exhibiting our Phoenix CRJ. The number of aircraft out in the static was very impressive.
RDT Ltd - Alastair Grant
The exhibition gave as an opportunity to connect with our existing Middle Eastern customers and demonstrate our new RDT Tempus IC product. We've met some really interesting potential customers too so it has definitely been worth attending.
First Class Cars - Graeme Coate, Managing Director
The exhibition has been a great networking opportunity and a good way to find out more about the market here with a lot of b2b enquiries. We made some excellent new contacts, which we hope will lead to lucrative new business.
