As a true metric of Sheltair’s dedication to exceptional service, the rankings result from general aviation customers’ feedback on facilities, passenger amenities, pilot amenities, line service, and customer service representatives (CSRs). The scores from all five categories were averaged to reach the FBOs’ final scores.
With this focus on customer experience, four of these Sheltair FBOs ranked in the top 10%, two of which topped the list among the most esteemed 5% of FBOs—an exciting first for this innovative aviation company.

Represented in the top 20% were Sheltair Daytona Beach (DAB), Savannah (SAV), and Clearwater (PIE). Sheltair Jacksonville (JAX) and Orlando (ORL) landed in the top 10%, while Sheltair Tampa (TPA) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL) achieved a top 5% position. With a well-rounded approach to exceptional operations, Sheltair TPA was one of only three FBOs to score a 4.7 or higher (out of five) in every category, marking its sixth consecutive year in the top 5%.
In addition, AIN recognized Sheltair’s New York City locations at La Guardia and John F. Kennedy in the most improved FBOs category, showing a notable increase in rankings year over year. In the Long Island area, Sheltair’s Westhampton Beach (FOK), Islip (ISP), and Farmingdale (FRG) locations ranked as the top three FBOs consecutively.
In Florida, Sheltair Panama City Beach (ECP) was designated as the number one FBO in Northwest Florida. Sheltair Tampa (TPA), St. Petersburg (SPG), and Clearwater (PIE) were ranked the top three FBOs in the Tampa Bay area; and Sheltair Pompano Beach (PMP) scored higher than any other FBO in the Pompano/Boca Raton area, with a 4.55.
Sheltair also had more team members recognized by customers than any other company in the Above & Beyond category: Bernie Spencer (DAB), Brandy Bailey (ECP), Johanna Echeto (ORL), Odette Miqui (FLL), Rebecca Reres (TPA), and Venus Koenig (JAX).
